According to the statistics of the Dubrovnik Tourist Board, 6,317 guests welcomed in 2018 in Dubrovnik in 2018, which is 28% more than last year.
According to the structure of the guests, most guests were from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Germany, Austria, Portugal, Slovenia, Italy, USA, Albania and Montenegro.
December was generally a positive month for the city’s tourism industry with 20,633 guests arriving and achieving 42,765 overnight stays. These figures are an increase over December over the year before, 13 percent more tourist arrivals were recorded in 2017.
Looking back at 2017 there were 1.18 million tourists in Dubrovnik, or 17 percent more than in 2016. The vast majority were foreign tourists, or 1.12 million, and then 56,042 domestic and 36,214 nautical tourists. These figures don’t include the cruise ship passengers to Dubrovnik, which would take the total number of tourists to the two million mark.
The top list of 2017 tourists coming to Dubrovnik was traditionally led by guests from the United Kingdom, USA, Germany, France, Croatia, Spain, Australia, Sweden, Finland and Ireland.
