The president of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović seems to always attract great attention wherever she goes.
Last year Grabar-Kitarović thrilled the Arab world. The media there did not report on her political activities but on her good looks, her photos on Instagram and Twitter. They even made a television broadcast on how the Croatian President painted her apartment in a peach colour. They were impressed and wondered how a president of a state held a paint roller full of paint and painted the walls.
Recently the Croatian President took advantage of the benefits of social networks and posted 229 new photos on her Facebook page. The photo album is titled ‘’Captured moments in the third year of the mandate’’.
It seems that Grabar-Kitarović is particularly fond of some photos she posted such as the one that shows her whispering with the Slovenian President Borut Pahor. She likes that photo so much that she even ‘’liked’’ it herself on her Facebook page.
All and all, the President surely triggered a true avalanche of ‘’likes’’ and comments from the country and abroad, some even calling her ‘’Queen of Balkans’’ and ‘’Fairy of Velebit’’.
